1. Big, huge fan of “Black Sails” here. A couple of random, non-spoiler things to say: The show is a prequel of sorts to “Treasure Island”, introducing a young John Silver, Billy Bones & Captain Flint/ Flint we never actually met in the book but it was his buried treasure everyone was after. Vane and his cohorts, Jack Rackham & Anne Bonny, were real pirates of that day mixed in with the Treasure Island characters. Nassau is the city where the pirates all frequent when not at sea, Nassau is located on New Providence island which is in the Bahamas. Also Billy Bones is played by the same actor who was Dickon Tarly in last season of “Game Of Thrones”.

   Anyhow, it’s a great show. Look forward to seeing your journey with it. I’ve seen it mentioned before and it’s accurate that season 1 is like the uphill journey to the top of the mountain, sled in hand. Seasons 2-4 are the hold on for dear life thrill ride down the hill.

2. I heard the guys going over muppet treasure island and kermit the frogs character is not Captain Flint but a Good Guy Captain Captain Smallet. Flint at the point of Treasure Island is assumed dead. Miss Piggy s character of that of Ben Gunn but she is called something else. Thing is in all of Black Sails the character of Ben Gunn doesnt appear in Black Sails unless its the final season which have not seen yet.
